| A freelance professional photographer with
20 years of experience René De Carufel studied
photography in the U.S. and film production at Concordia
University in Montreal. He has mounted many shows. He
has been producer, director and DOP on a number of films
and videos, some of which have been selected for official
competition at festivals in Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
He is currently working on a photography book project
called "The Photographer's Vision" or "Le
regard du photographe", consisting of 100 intimate
portraits and commentaries of talented photographers.
A contemporary spectrum of individuals who have a very
strong and articulate vision, no matter which area of
