| FOR A MOMENT |
 |

 |
For a moment,
when you lean back,
shift your weight
from your elbows
to your knees and
slip slowly out, I see,
through the frame
created by the vees
of our thighs, you,
smooth and slick
as the branch
of an alder in the rain,
a drop of you and me
forming at the tip
and falling .
